Uh-bin´uh-dab; Heb., “father of generosity”

1 A prominent man from Kireath-jearim who had custody of the Ark after its return from the Philistines until David moved it to Jerusalem (1Sam 7:1; 1Chr 13:7). 2 The second son of Jesse (1Sam 16:8; 1Sam 17:13; 1Chr 2:13).
